I was surprised by the fact that I didn't have any Twilestia pictures in my gallery
So here is the first one ^.^
I love this relationship between Celestia and Twilight because it's very similar as one I had with one of my teachers in highschool. But she had to leave the school and I really miss her :sad:

It's kind of wonderful.
I always find Twilight's ascension to Alicornhood to be strangely fascinating. Not only in a narrative way but also in a religious way too.
In a Narrative way because we've seen Twilight's journey since the beginning. Not the one of adventure but one that's more about herself. Her learning to be more open minded, be more friendly, be more kinder and be more mature. And her transformation to an Alicorn goddess is beautifully fitting. Because it was her ultimate reward for all the hardships she had to go through. It's funny how at the beginning Twilight was surprised and scared of the revelation because now she was literary stepping into a new world yet at the end she not only adapted to the role she also help inspire others.
And in a religious way because of her death and Resurrection and that through her journey she has always been tempted(well not literary) and because of this drawing that shows Celestia(her 2nd mother figure) baptizing Twilight with her celestial hair. I bet Celestia must feel very proud of Twilight for all of her accomplishments while Twilight must feel very happy that she's being loved by Celestia.
